The Vineyards

The vines are mainly indigenous such as Barbera, Grignolino and Cortese, and make up 90% of the production. The remaining part is occupied by two important international vines which are Chardonnay and Merlot.
The vineyards are cultivated in rows, using the Guyot method of pruning, leaving from 6 to 8 gems per vine stump. All of the vines are on the DOC register and cultivated respecting the rules of the “Lotta Integrata” so as to have less an impact on the environment as possible
