History of the Olivetta Winery
The Olivetta family became owners of the Winery at the beginning of the 900’s, but the history of the “cascina vecchia” goes back much further, probably to around the mid 1600’s. From the original building, the manor house and stables still stand, although they now serve the purpose of hosting the aging procedures.
Hence, the art of producing wine has been sent down through four generations without interruption. It all began thanks to Luigi who bought the farm during the beginning of the last century, followed by his son Attilio, who passed it on to the grandson Luigi, who, together with the great grandson Marco, runs the Winery today.
